
Sarah established the Tri-County Family Care Center, Inc. in the Arkansas Valley in May 1995 and opened an office in January 1996. She was a single parent struggling to find appropriate services. It was a financial and emotional challenge for her to travel from one agency to another unable to get the help she needed. She decided that the Tri-County (Otero, Bent and Crowley) area needed a single point of entry for families needing services.
